Role
As a Clinical Nurse in the Primary Care team at Acacia Prison, you'll provide clinical assessment and intervention strategies for a diverse inmate population. You'll collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver patient-centered care, support rehabilitation, and ensure a safe and secure environment. This is a full-time, permanent role based in Wooroloo, WA.
Responsibilities
* Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments and interventions
* Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to plan and implement patient care
* Act as a role model in providing holistic care
* Provide training and education to staff on clinical practices
* Manage clinical documentation and patient care plans
* Support the rehabilitation and reintegration of inmates

You Could Be a Great Fit If You Have
* A valid registration as a Division 1 Registered Nurse with AHPRA
* Experience in clinical assessment, care planning, and discharge planning
* Strong communication and teamwork skills
* The ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
* A commitment to ongoing professional development
* Experience working in a forensic or correctional environment (desirable)
