About Us

PKKP Aboriginal Corporation is a Puutu Kunti Kurrama and Pinikura–led organisation grounded in Country and culture, and unapologetically ambitious in how we protect, govern and strengthen it. Our work sits at the intersection of deep cultural authority and world-class practice, and we are doing things differently.

PKKP is preparing to participate in one of the largest archaeological and cultural heritage projects of its kind in the world, carried out in partnership with internationally recognised experts. We are building an organisation with a global outlook, forming international partnerships to strengthen Indigenous governance, cultural protection and land management. Our leadership and teams have engaged directly with Indigenous peoples and institutions overseas, including learning exchanges with the Sámi people in Norway, cultural and governance work in New Orleans, and emerging partnerships with world-leading archaeological and research teams, including those connected to the Lascaux cave systems in France.

At our core, everything we do serves Country, culture and future generations. We value curiosity, courage and excellence, and we back our people to grow alongside the organisation. To support this, we offer a generous professional development program of up to $10,000 per year, enabling our team to build the skills, knowledge and global perspective needed to meet our aspirations.

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Archives and Data Management Specialist to join our Cultural Research team.

This role is responsible for developing and managing PKKP's archival and heritage data systems to ensure culturally appropriate, secure and future-focused information management. You will work closely with Traditional Owners, internal teams and external partners to support ethical access to cultural materials while upholding Indigenous data sovereignty principles.

Desirable:

Why Join Us?

* Work in a culturally led organisation protecting PKKP knowledge and heritage
