We are excited to announce that Therapy Focus has joined the APM Group, and we are seeking an experienced PBS Practitioner who is ready to take the next steps in their career and wants to make a real difference in the lives of the people they support.
Your role
As an experienced Psychologist you will manage a diverse caseload, providing high quality psychology services to support a range of different people of all ages, living with or without disability. This is a part-time position based at either our Joondalup or Mirrabooka base, 2 - 3 days per week.
Some of your key responsibilities will include:
* Work closely and collaboratively within the team to provide a range of psychology services including assessments, evidence-based interventions, goal setting and the development of comprehensive therapy plans.
* Apply collaborate, person and family centered practice principles in services delivery.
* Maintain clinical records, client documentation and report on services delivered.
* Ongoing evaluation and review of customers progress in line with their personal goals and plans.
What we're looking for
* Minimum 10 years of experience in a relevant discipline and with proven ability to independently apply professional knowledge and judgement when performing novel, complex, or critical tasks specific to their discipline.
* Minimum of 4 years' experience providing clinical supervision within the relevant discipline.
* Hold a formal tertiary qualification in Allied Health such as Psychologist or equivalent.
* Hold a current registration from the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
* Must have held NDIS PBS Registration at Proficient level, for minimum 1 year.
* Strong understanding of compliance and quality frameworks with NDIS, Aged Care or community healthcare settings.
* Demonstrated understanding of the principles of accountability systems and continuous quality improvement processes.
* Ability to work in a highly productive environment with time pressures while managing multiple tasks.
* Demonstrated ability to actively contribute to the development of professional knowledge and skills in a relevant discipline with a demonstrated ability to make positive impacts to Therapy Focus's customers.
* Have a strong focus on safety culture and willingness to always improve quality, safety and compliance.
