We are a growing industry leader driven by our desire to think differently, navigate challenging operating landscapes, and seize new opportunities.The RoleThe Health & Injury Prevention Advisor plays a key role in musculoskeletal injury prevention, intervention, and recovery, as well as occupational health intervention, screening, and education. The role also involves assisting in the management of return-to-work plans, health monitoring, injury risk mitigation, and safety support.Key ResponsibilitiesCoordinate the MinRes Health Promotion calendar, facilitating monthly health and injury prevention topics, including workshops, seminars, and toolbox talks.Review ergonomic and manual task risk assessments, providing recommendations for hazard elimination and mitigation strategies, including Job Dictionary review facilitation.Conduct field interactions and one-on-one coaching with staff on body positioning and the completion of manual and high-risk tasks.Provide health coaching to motivate and inspire staff to set and achieve sustainable health goals through physical activity and behavioral change initiatives.Develop health and exercise programs for individuals and facilitate group fitness classes suitable for all capabilities and fitness levels.What You Will BringTertiary qualification in a relevant Allied Health discipline (e.g., Physiotherapy, Exercise Physiology, Occupational Therapy, Exercise & Health Science).Current CPR and Provide First Aid certifications.Valid WA ‘C’ class manual driver’s license.Safety qualification.Competence in health and safety data systems.Understanding and application of relevant health and safety legislation and regulations.Experience in developing sustainable and inclusive health and injury prevention programs.Minimum 12 months of experience in the mining/resources sector.Experience in case management within a clinical or vocational rehabilitation setting.What MinRes Can OfferA dynamic and global leader committed to innovation.State-of-the-art facilities and award-winning food services.Investment opportunities through the MinRes MyShare plan.Career development with leadership, upskilling, training, and development programs.A range of benefits supporting family, health, leisure, and future planning.Access to an in-house wellness centre and mental health support, emphasizing employee wellbeing.
