Control Room Operations Specialist
Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Control Room Operations Specialist to join our team at one of our biotechnology sites in Broadmeadows. The successful candidate will have hands-on experience with systems such as Gallagher, Avigilon, Genetec, Ascom, and PassagePoint.
Key Responsibilities:
* Monitor and operate CCTV systems
* Communicate and collaborate with emergency services and internal/external stakeholders
* Maintain accurate security incident reports, data logs, emergency response activities, and visitor records
* Assess and respond to risk situations adeptly and according to standard operating procedures
* Operate two-way radio communication networks for security personnel and manage the deployment of security staff
* Manage access control for personnel, employees, and visitors
* Participate in ongoing training programs and exercises
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Hold a current Security Licence with a Control Room endorsement
* Hold Hepatitis B & Influenza Certificate (current and proof required)
* Strong administrative skills, computer competency, and excellent email etiquette
* Ability to work effectively within a fast-paced team environment and experience with Fire-Panels
* Knowledge across any of the following or similar software: Gallagher, Avigilon, Genetec, Ascom, Passagepoint
* Current First Aid and CPR Certification
* Valid Driver's license with transport capability
* Collaborative work style, either independently or as part of a team
* Flexibility to work rotating shifts, including nights and weekends
Working Conditions:
Full-time 12-hour rotating roster or full-time reliever opportunities available. Enjoy flexible shifts across 24 hours, 7 days a week.
