Are you a strategic HR professional fluent in Mandarin and English? Our growing food manufacturing client in Sydney is looking for an HR Manager to lead and support their multicultural team. Reporting directly to the CEO, this is a senior role for a hands-on HR leader who can balance strategic vision with practical delivery, and who thrives in culturally complex environments.
What You’ll Do
* Lead end-to-end HR operations and provide expert HR advice
* Develop and execute strategic HR initiatives and change management aligned with organisational goals
* Manage employee relations, performance, and disciplinary matters
* Design and implement effective L&D and succession planning frameworks
* Develop HR policies, procedures, and best practices
* Support payroll, workers’ compensation, and benefits
* Drive training, engagement, and culture initiatives
* Ensure compliance with Australian employment laws and WHS
What We’re Looking For
* Proven experience as an HR Manager
* Fluent in Mandarin (spoken & written) is highly advantageous
* High cultural intelligence with demonstrated understanding and experience working with a predominant Asian workforce
* Knowledge of Australian Fair Work legislation
* Strong training, communication, and stakeholder-management skills
* HR qualification (degree or equivalent)
* Ability to work independently, handle confidential matters, and travel nationally occasionally
