An exciting opportunity has arisen for a skilled and motivated professional to join the BRHS Health Information Services team in a fixed-term position. The position: Fixed-Term, Full-Time, 76.0 hours per fortnight to 30 September 2026.
In this role you will provide timely and accurate analysis and coding of medical records, operations and procedures relevant to the admitted patient's episode of care for BRHS and other smaller regional hospitals as required. Additional data submission, assistance with Medico-legal processing may be included in the role as required.

Key selection criteria:
- Tertiary qualification in Health Information Management.
- Eligibility for membership with the Health Information Management Association of Australia (HIMAA).
- A minimum 12 months experience performing clinical coding and using grouping software
- Demonstrated good understanding of Victoria's public funding model.
- Sound clinical knowledge to enable accurate analysis of medical documentation.
