What you'll be doing
Are you a talented SOE engineer ready to make an impact in a dynamic and supportive environment? We are looking for someone who thrives on delivering exceptional customer support while helping to support a cutting‐edge green fields SOE environment using MECM, Intune, and Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD).
As a SOE Engineer and key team member, you will play an essential role in creating, implementing, and maintaining a secure and high‐performing SOE environment. Here's how you'll contribute:
* Design & Build: support and maintain our endpoint SOE and Virtual Desktop Environment.
* Implementation: Assist in the build and deployment processes for our endpoints and Virtual Desktop Environment. Provide application packaging and deployment support.
* Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation, including as-built designs and standard operating procedures.
* Support: Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting for endpoint and Virtual Desktop issues, minimizing downtime.
* Collaboration: Work closely with cross‐functional teams to align SOE designs with our business objectives.
Working Conditions
* Predominantly office-based in Canberra
* Permanent full time
* Australian Citizen with the ability to obtain baseline clearance
What will make you successful in this role?
* Knowledge of Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) and MS365
* Experience in SOE task sequence creation
* Familiarity with Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager, Intune, and Copilot
* Application packaging and deployment skills
* Experience with Airlock Digital
* Exposure to applying Security Best Practices in line with the Information Security Manual (ISM)
* Excellent troubleshooting and problem‐solving skills
* Strong communication and collaboration abilities
