An exciting opportunity has become available for a motivated Site Fitter based at Carmichael Mine site. Reporting to the Customer Support Manager, you will be responsible for providing safe, effective, and timely product and technical support services and advice to the Division's customers. Additionally, the Site Fitter will manage customer relationships at the site level. This role follows a 7 on, 7 off roster, rotating day/night shifts.
Key Responsibilities
1. Diagnose and repair equipment faults promptly.
2. Inspect plant and equipment for conformity.
3. Liaise with and request required spare parts, and plan parts accordingly.
4. Diagnose faults involving mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical components.
5. Perform repairs and servicing of all site OEM equipment.
About You
* Certificate III in Engineering Mechanical.
* Experience with large hydraulic excavators.
* High Risk Licences: LF, DG, EWP & Working at Heights (preferred).
* Excellent communication skills.
* Strong troubleshooting abilities.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
