In 2026, we're expanding our video-first editorial offering with independent caravan reviews, tow-vehicle testing, Tough Tested segments, and multi-platform touring content. We're building the next generation of authoritative, practical, and inspiring content across, our social channels, and the TV show.
We're looking for a storyteller who can be one of the faces of that future.
About the Role
We're searching for a Caravan Reviewer & Video Journalist, someone who loves caravanning, is confident on camera, and knows how to turn real-world testing into meaningful, entertaining content.
You'll help shape how Australia researches and buys caravans and tow vehicles by producing honest, expert, and highly engaging reviews across video, digital, and social platforms.
This role also carries a core responsibility:
Managing the publishing of reviews, guides, and multimedia content on, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and alignment with our brand purpose, values, and editorial standards.
The role includes regular travel for reviews, shoots, industry events, and touring assignments. This is an on-the-road job as much as it is an on-camera job.
Please Note: We are specifically seeking someone with proven, hands-on experience reviewing caravans, campers, and tow vehicles. This is not an entry-level presenting role, applicants must already understand caravan engineering, towing behaviour, off-road capability, and real-world touring.
What You'll Do
Video + Editorial
* Present caravan and tow-vehicle reviews on camera (long-form, mid-form, social cutdowns)
* Write and produce review scripts, written articles, and comparison guides
* Break down complex specs into clear, practical, buyer-friendly insights
* Participate in towing tests, setup demonstrations, off-grid testing, and product evaluations
* Shoot short-form content when required (mobile acceptable)
* Collaborate with the digital and production teams to create multi-platform assets
Publishing & Content Management
* Manage publication of reviews and guides on
* Maintain accuracy, consistency, metadata, tagging, and SEO best practices
* Ensure content reflects WUDU's values: trust, transparency, authority, practicality, inclusivity, inspiration
* Work closely with digital, TV, marketing, and social teams on content rollout
* Contribute to new formats across Research & Reviews, Guides & Advice, Travel Inspiration, and Tough Tested
Industry & Community
* Attend media days, industry launches, dealer events, and caravan shows
* Act as a trusted, knowledgeable voice within the caravanning and towing community
* Build relationships with manufacturers, brands, and audiences
What You'll Bring
* Strong on-camera presence (mandatory)
* Experience in RV/caravan, automotive, adventure, or outdoor journalism
* Solid understanding of caravans: weights, towing, layouts, off-grid systems
* Strong understanding of tow vehicles (4WDs, utes, SUVs) and basic vehicle dynamics
* Excellent writing skills — conversational, credible, and easy to understand
* Ability to create quick tips, walkarounds, comparisons, and social-friendly micro-content
* Comfortable presenting both scripted segments and improvised reviews
* Genuine passion for caravanning, camping, 4WD touring, and life on the road
* Experience publishing in WordPress (or similar CMS): formatting articles, managing media, optimising metadata, and maintaining editorial quality.
* Familiarity with SEO basics, multimedia publishing, or editorial workflow tools
* Valid driver's licence and confidence towing caravans for review and testing purposes.
* Willingness to travel regularly for shoots, reviews, events, and touring assignments.
Bonus Skills (Nice to Have)
* Personal caravanning or RV ownership experience
* Ability to self-produce short-form content (Reels, Shorts, TikTok)
* Technical knowledge (solar, battery systems, suspension, tow vehicles)
* Data-driven review approach using structured testing methodologies
* Drone operation for supplementary footage (basic or intermediate)
* Ability to integrate AI into the content workflow, using tools for rapid research, draft structuring, metadata generation, content repurposing, or speeding up production without sacrificing quality or editorial integrity.
