Our client, a well-established Smallgoods Manufacturer producing quality pork, ham and salami products, is seeking a motivated HR Driver – Sales & Customer Delivery to join their growing team in Geelong.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys being on the road while also building strong relationships with customers. You will manage delivery routes across Geelong and regional Victoria while promoting and supporting the company's range of smallgoods products.
Occasional overnight travel may be required for longer regional routes, with accommodation organised by the company.
Key Responsibilities
* Safely operate a Heavy Rigid (HR) truck to deliver products to customers and retail outlets.
* Load products from the depot and ensure safe transportation and storage during deliveries.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with customers along your delivery route.
* Promote the company's range of smallgoods products and identify opportunities to grow sales.
* Provide friendly and professional customer service.
* Maintain accurate delivery documentation and basic sales reporting.
* Follow road safety regulations, fatigue management requirements and company policies.
About You
* Valid HR Truck License (essential)
* Previous truck driving experience
* Strong communication and customer service skills
* Confident interacting with customers and supporting sales growth
* Ability to work independently and manage a regional route
* Comfortable with manual handling and physical work
* Valid Australian working rights
