Job Description:
* Taking responsibility for accounts receivable
* Managing and recording consumables
* Applying and preparing tender documents
* Advising and assisting other Managers in applying sound recruitment and selection practices, and appropriate induction, training, and development programs
* Developing and implementing performance management systems to plan, appraise and improve individual and team performance
* Developing and implementing occupational health and safety programs and equal employment opportunity programs, and ensuring compliance with related statutory requirements
* Ad-hoc IT and Admin duties
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will have:
* Experience with Accounts Assistance and Tender preparation is a plus
* Tertiary degree in a business discipline – preferred.
* Previous experience in a similar position.
* An outgoing, welcoming, friendly personality, excellent with numbers and paperwork
* An understanding of basic accounting entries and the ability to perform data entry and reconciliations.
* Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organisation, both written and verbal
* Proven high proficiency and computer skills with knowledge of MS Office, Excel, and Word (including basic functions and formulas)
* High attention to detail is a MUST.
* Comfort in a highly IT-dependent environment.
* Excellent time management skills and ability to work and make effective decisions under pressure.
* Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workflow.
* Highly organised with the ability to multitask.
* High-level problem-solving and analytical ability.
* Ability to work autonomously and within a team.
