- About the opportunity

- Based at our Woodridge site, your role will be working with participants in the Disability Employment Services program to assist them to overcome barriers to employment and successfully transition into the workforce.
- In a day, your role will include conducting appointments, creating goals and referring to both internal and external services for support and training, marketing and referring to employment opportunities, providing post placement support and much more! The best part about the role is you get to support the participant along their journey and share in the positivity that employment brings.
- About you- We want you to be passionate about helping your community while representing The Salvation Army-
- Ability to overcome objections and break down barriers that exist for people living with a disability-
- A strong ability to problem-solve and communicate to a wide variety of stakeholders-
- Demonstrated experience in achieving and exceeding business targets and KPIs-
- Comfortable operating under a government framework and making decisions in accordance with Department guidelines- Industry experience is not essential, our most successful employees come from customer facing backgrounds such as retail and hospitality and have the life skills to provide mentoring and support.
