The role
We're looking for a Creative Strategist to own and operate the day-to-day performance creative engine at Moodi.
You'll live and breathe the Moodi customer and social platforms like TikTok and Meta, obsessing over what makes great content and turning insights into high-impact creative that actually converts.
This is a hands-on, high-ownership role for someone who thrives in fast-moving environments, has more ideas than time, and learns by doing. You'll run the creative pipeline end-to-end, moving fluidly between insight, ideation, copywriting, execution, and iteration.
What you'll do
* Own Moodi's creative strategy across paid and brand channels
* Generate a high volume of creative ideas and translate insights into testable concepts
* Write high-performing direct-response copy for hooks, scripts, statics, captions, and headlines
* Lead creative brainstorms and maintain a robust pipeline of diverse, platform-native creative
* Manage end-to-end creative workflows, from concepting through briefing editors, designers, and creators, to final approval.
* Analyse creative performance, run experiments, and optimise approaches based on data and learnings
* Conduct ongoing customer, persona, and competitive research to expand reach and improve performance
* Build and evolve creative frameworks and learnings that compound over time
* Lead experimentation with AI tools to improve creative workflows, efficiency, and velocity
What you'll need
* 3-5 years experience in creative strategy, performance creative, or a closely related role
* Strong direct-response copywriting skills across multiple creative formats (this is a non-negotiable)
* Deep understanding of social platforms and what makes content perform
* Experience creating static and video content using platforms like Figma, Capcut, or Adobe.
* A test-and-learn mindset with the ability to connect insights into bigger creative learnings
* Confidence working autonomously while collaborating closely with leadership
* A proactive, hands-on approach and willingness to get your hands dirty
* Alignment with Moodi's mission, vision and values
Location
This role is open to Auckland (hybrid) or Australia (remote).
