Reporting to the Commercial Packages Customer Manager, you will provide your expertise that continues the ongoing growth of the business, whilst providing a high level of customer service to clients.
**Responsibilities include**:
- Underwriting of heavy and commercial motor business;
- Act as a referral point to other staff;
- Build and maintain effective working relationships with Intermediaries;
- Cover and retain the company's risk exposure;
- Monitoring existing business portfolios;
- Review adverse renewals;
- Underwriting of renewals, new business and endorsements;
- Other duties as directed.
To be considered for this role, you will ideally have some experience in underwriting, with a minimum of 12 months' experience in a similar underwriting role is preferred. You should also have a strong desire to learn, excellent communication skills, and be customer-focused with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Additionally, you must have the ability to make sound underwriting and business decisions, maintain a high level of attention to detail, and possess strong communication and computer skills. While not essential, current ANZIIF Insurance Industry recognition would be desirable.
