Responsibilities
* Enhance customer experience by maintaining a clean and orderly facility to the defined standards within the specified timelines, exceeding guests' expectations.
* Deliver quality service that meets guests' needs.
* Work in a clean, sanitary, safe, and organized manner, abiding by all health and safety regulations.
* Maintain a professional appearance and act as a role model according to the grooming and appearance policy.
* Stay informed on department and property knowledge and promotions.
* Clean hotel rooms, hallways, linen rooms, and employee and storage areas in the hotel, as directed.
* Maintain and clean all equipment used during the shift, as directed.
* Maintain proper documentation of all duties accomplished during the shift, as directed.
* Report all safety hazards or maintenance deficiencies for timely handling and comply with all security measures.
* Greet all guests with a proper salutation and pleasant expression.
* Assist guests with issues within authority to ensure satisfaction while operating within established guidelines and policies.
* Perform all duties in a quiet and orderly manner.
* Assist with department projects as needed.
* Perform all other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
* Previous casino/hotel industry experience preferred.
* High school diploma or GED preferred but not required.
* Six (6) months of previous cleaning experience preferred.
* Ability to clean as directed at an acceptable performance rate.
* Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality and professionalism.
* Must be able to operate equipment, including but not limited to vacuum cleaners, cleaning supplies, mops, and brooms.
* Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
* Must be able to stand and/or walk for up to 8 hours per shift.
* Must be able to lift, carry, and transport up to 40 pounds.
