 
        
        The Human Resources Support Officer's key responsibilities are:
- Coordinate and monitor payroll and recruitment processing in liaison with the Managers within the Region; 
- Coordinate and monitor the center's human resource computerized records systems and assist the Manager, Human Resources in preparing reports and advice for other managers. Provide advice to, and work collaboratively with, the Managers and Regional Director on operational and administrative tasks. Coordinate and monitor recruitment activities within the region with the relevant Managers and the Regional Director. Liaise as required with operational workgroups on workforce planning issues, matters of payroll, Workcover and other administrative functions. Provide supervision and training to human resource administrative and support staff in applicable human resource systems. Participate productively and collaboratively as a member of a team in delivering support and services to staff and clients.

**Additional requirements**:
- Role specific/technical skills: Experience and knowledge of human resources directives and policies is highly desirable, particularly pertaining to recruitment and selection 
- Travel to rural and remote areas within Queensland will be a requirement of this role. This will involve travelling away from the business unit for a period of time
