Randstad is seeking experienced care managers and care coordinators (residential aged care) who are looking for their next opportunity to lead clinical oversight in a residential aged care facility in Noosa.

About the Role:
As part of the clinical care team, you will work closely with the Facility Manager to ensure the best possible care and services to residents. You will provide expert clinical guidance and effectively manage clinical and lifestyle systems and processes to promote residents' safety, well-being, and quality of life. As a clinical leader, you will provide effective management, leadership, support, and direction to staff and ensure compliance with the Aged Care Quality Standards and other Commonwealth reporting requirements.
Typical tasks include, but are not limited to:
* Monitor and assess the overall health and well-being of elderly residents.
* Conduct regular assessments of residents' health and care needs.
* Use data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
* Work closely with healthcare professionals to develop and implement care plans.
* Ensure care plans are tailored to individual resident needs.
* Provide leadership and guidance to care clinical staff at our facilities.
* Stay informed about changes to regulations and standards relating to aged care and ensure compliance.
* Conduct regular audits to assess and maintain compliance.
* Lead initiatives to improve the quality of care using best practices and evidence-based approaches.
* Communicate effectively with residents, families, and stakeholders, addressing concerns or feedback.
* Monitor staff compliance with medication administration processes, protocols, and policies.
* Collaborate with other departments, such as allied health practitioners, to enhance residents' overall well-being.
Key Requirements:
* APRA registered
* Current National Police Certificate
* At least five years' experience in aged care or a related field
* Proven team leadership and clinical skills
* Detailed knowledge of Aged Care legislation, including the Aged Care Quality Standards and accreditation processes, Australian National Aged Care Classification (AN-ACC), electronic care management systems, and OHS legislation.
* Highly developed communication skills (written and verbal) and effective interpersonal skills.
* Preferred: High level computer literacy, experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, and electronic case management systems.
* Current driver’s license
* Up-to-date COVID-19 vaccination
