As the Operational Support Team Leader, you'll oversee the administration and operational support teams responsible for delivering accurate transactional processing, maintaining compliance, and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations across multiple sites. Your leadership will be critical in supporting our road maintenance contracts and keeping business functions running efficiently and on time.
Key responsibilities
* Lead, coach and develop administration and depot support staff across multiple SA locations
* Manage end-to-end transactional processing including purchase orders, invoicing, progress claims and billing
* Ensure accurate work order setup, job costing, daily shift reporting and depot based documentation
* Oversee compliance, quality control, archiving and adherence to financial and operational systems
* Build effective relationships with internal teams, depots, subcontractors and suppliers
* Identify process and system improvements to drive efficiency and consistency
Provide onsite support across regional depots as needed (travel required)
What you'll bring
* Demonstrated experience leading administration or finance teams in a fast paced operational or depot environment
* Strong organisational capability with exceptional accuracy and attention to detail
* Experience with ERP systems (JDEGS, SAP, Oracle or similar)
* Ability to manage deadlines, competing priorities and high volume workflows
Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement and problem solving skills
