Overview
HammondCare Miranda is looking for Casual Specialised Carers – Dementia Care to join our team. In this role you will provide tailored care, including personal support within a residential home, with the residents' needs as your top priority.
Responsibilities
* Provide personal care such as showering, grooming and toileting
* Offer life engagement activities
* Support residents at various levels of dementia
* Recognise, report and respond appropriately to changes in residents' conditions within your skills and competencies
Qualifications
* Genuine passion for serving elderly people and making a difference in their lives
* Flexibility to commit to a range of shifts, including nights and weekends
* Ability to work both as part of a team and independently, showing initiative
* Knowledge and experience of people living with dementia and their needs
* Certification: Cert III or Cert IV in Aged Care preferred
