Norcon Earthworks and Landscaping is seeking a skilled, versatile Labourer to join our tight-knit team in Maitland, NSW. As a Skilled Labourer, you will play a crucial role in supporting our landscaping and construction projects, contributing to the successful delivery of a wide range of tasks. This is a casual position, offering the flexibility to fit around your lifestyle.
What you'll be doing
* Assisting with the preparation and installation of various landscaping elements, such as, retaining walls, and concreting, turf preps and general earthworks on residential homes
* Operating light machinery and equipment, including jackhammers, compactors, and concrete mixers
* Performing general construction duties, such as site clearing, excavation, and site clean-up
* Working collaboratively with the team to ensure projects are completed to a high standard
* MR truck licence is essential
What we're looking for
* Proven experience as a Labourer or in a similar construction/landscaping role
* Strong physical fitness and the ability to perform manual tasks
* A keen eye for detail and the ability to work to specifications
* Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a team
* A current driver's licence and your own reliable transport
* A commitment to workplace health and safety
