Purpose and Scope of Position
Working in the pre-delivery department, you'll fit a range of accessories and carry out inspections on all vehicles prior to delivery.
Duties, Responsibilities & Accountabilities
- Adhere to Northpoint's common purpose and values and policies and procedures and actively promote Northpoint's common purpose of 'Creating a Memorable Experience' and 7 pillars of Respect, On Show, Skilled, Efficient, Continuous Improvement, Cast, and Safety.
- Maintain a safe working environment and adherence to all Northpoint HSEC requirements.
- Take reasonable care to protect your own health & safety, and the health & safety of others that may be affected by your actions or omissions at work.
- Fit vehicles with the required accessories,
- Building and maintaining strategic relationships with internal stakeholders including; Vehicle Delivery Quality Improvement Coordinator (VDQIC) and Pre Delivery Control Coordinator (PDCC),
- Adhere to Toyota specific standard fit times
- Successfully achieve Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Any other lawful instruction given to you by your Supervisor, Manager, General Manager, CEO or Director.
Skills, Competencies and Personal Attributes
- Willingness to learn and follow instructions,
- Mechanical aptitude,
- Able to work with hand tools,
- Able to read and interpret technical information from service manuals,
- Manual dexterity
- Valid driver's license.

Environmental Conditions
You may have to work in all weather and must be prepared for both extreme heat and cold. You may be exposed to unpleasant sights and smells in your day to day activities.
Mental and Physical Demands
You must complete assigned tasks in a timely manner. You must be able to deal effectively with the pressures and responsibilities associated with this role whilst effectively handling all internal and external stake holders in a professional and respectful manner. You may be required to enter and exit vehicles regularly, lift supplies and materials from time to time.
