The Role

Reporting to the Commercial Finance Manager, this role will be responsible for maintaining the day-to-day account's function, ensuring continuity, accuracy, and timely processing in high-volume across all Loftus Entities while supporting the wider finance function.

Qualification and Experience

* Minimum of 5 years' experience in an accounts related field and familiarity with the accounting function.
* Ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with internal and external customers.
* Confident problem solving and communication skills with an ability to prioritise deadlines and analyse situations to communicate in a positive manner.
* Ability to work under pressure and at times of high demand.
* Support the accounts and finance teams to deliver work on time and to a high-quality standard.

Role Responsibilities

* Liaise with suppliers and customers to coordinate accounts payable and receivable processes.
* Payroll processing and oversight
* Batching invoices for payment
* Enter supplier / customer invoices
* Resolve account queries
* Support the accounts team to deliver key outcomes & business objectives
* Bank reconciliations
* End-of-month reconciliation of statements
* Reviewing and entering purchase orders in accordance with Loftus' approval process
* Liaise with key internal stakeholders regarding payables and receivables ensuring positive outcomes for Loftus
* Complete credit applications as required ensuring terms and conditions are aligned with Loftus' business outcomes
* Accurate data entry high attention to detail in managing databases
* General office duties including attending to emails, phone calls, filing etc
* Ad hoc duties to support the Finance Team
