Plant Operator – Port Pirie
Responsibilities
* Work as part of a shift team operating plant and equipment such as forklifts, cranes and jackhammers safely and efficiently to process material and produce metals.
* Operate plant in a 4‐day on / 4‐day off roster, with opportunities to work full shift roster including day and night shifts.
* Operate across various plant areas and be prepared to work cross‐shift duties as required.
Qualifications
* Previous experience in heavy industry or major hazard facilities is highly advantageous.
* Tickets such as Working at Heights, Confined Spaces, and/or Forklift licence preferred.
* Physically fit and able to pass a pre‐employment medical and undertake a physical operator role.
* Safety‐focused and team‐oriented.
* Resident of Port Pirie or surrounding area.
