Your Role
Here's what you will be doing:
* Perform a variety of geotechnical tasks within mining operations.
* Work closely with a multidisciplinary team to meet organisational goals.
* Apply geology and engineering knowledge to provide timely and safe solutions.
* Conduct core logging, update design statuses, manage instrumentation, QA/QC, and rehabilitation of development.
* Contribute to long term and short term mine plans.
* Undertake numerical modelling and project work.
* Participate in annual on-site training by Australian Centre for Geomechanics (ACG), Institute of Mine Seismology (IMS), and Map3D.
About You
The company is looking for:
* Bachelor of Engineering (Geotechnical) or similar qualification; Civil Engineering qualifications also considered prior to commencement.
