Job Description
We are looking for a reliable and safety-conscious individual who can operate underground haul trucks efficiently and safely. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating with boggers and loaders to ensure seamless material handling, as well as maintaining vehicle cleanliness and assisting with basic servicing.
Key duties and responsibilities include:
* Operate underground haul trucks to move ore and waste safely.
* Complete pre-start checks and safety documentation.
* Coordinate with boggers and loaders for efficient material handling.
* Follow traffic protocols and communicate via two-way radio.
* Maintain vehicle cleanliness and assist with basic servicing.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* Manual C Class Driver's Licence.
* A strong commitment to safety and a proactive attitude towards risk management.
* Previous experience operating haul trucks in a mining or quarry environment.
* Exposure to different types of mobile plant (dozer, loader, water cart).
* Familiarity with site-specific safety standards and environmental policies.
* Basic mechanical knowledge of heavy machinery.
* HR licence or above.
* First Aid Certification.
