We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Business Manager to join our dedicated team. This ongoing position plays a crucial role in supporting our school community and strategic vision by ensuring effective management of our financial, physical, and human resources.
Reporting directly to the Principal, the successful applicant will:
* Oversee the school's administrative and finance functions, including budgeting, financial reporting, and compliance requirements
* Lead and manage non-teaching staff across administration and grounds, ensuring effective HR practices in recruitment, induction, development, and performance management
* Manage the school's physical assets, facilities, maintenance programs, security, and work health and safety requirement
* Provide expert advice to leadership, staff, and School Governing Council on finance and resource matters, participate in committees, and contribute to key decision-making
* Maintain and enhance financial and administrative systems to support the school's educational outcomes
* Foster positive relationships with staff, students, parents, and the wider community.
Applicants must be able to demonstrate experience in financial management, HR, and asset management within a complex environment, as well as strong ICT and interpersonal skills. Prior experience in the education sector and with relevant Department for Education systems is desirable.
Position to commence as soon as possible, with the start date to be negotiated.
