Finance Manager
Patience Bulk Haulage is a family owned and operated bulk haulage transport company located in Geraldton, Western Australia. The company is currently seeking suitably qualified and experienced Finance Manager to join our team. As our Finance Manager you will oversee and manage the company's financial management systems and accounting activities within the company.
Reporting to the Company Director and Senior Management Team you will work with other managers and external stakeholders as required to provide accurate up to date financial insights to support decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:
* Take full ownership of financial management within the company, from transaction processing through to reporting and analysis.
* Manage accounting systems and end to end finance operations, including month‑end and year-end processes.
* Ensure compliance with Australian tax and statutory requirements, including BAS, GST, PAYG, payroll tax and FBT
* Oversee accounts team, purchasing coordination, and supplier payments.
* Perform daily bank reconciliations and monitor cashflow.
* Handle general ledger maintenance, prepayments, insurance, and month‑end journals.
* Reconcile and record customer payments across our client base.
* Collaborate with accounts and payroll administration teams to ensure accurate financial data.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related discipline.
* Proven experience in finance management, accounting and financial analysis.
* Strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills, along with high attention to detail.
* Proficiency in accounting software, ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle), and Microsoft Excel. Experience and proficiency in CMS Transport Software "Freight 2020" will be highly regarded.
The successful applicant will be required to pass a pre-employment medical, including drug and alcohol screening, supply a recent National Police clearance and a recent traffic infringement history check.
