We are seeking a dynamic and highly organised Front of House to be the face of our salon, ensuring a seamless and elevated client experience from arrival to departure. Part time will also be considered for the right applicant.
Role Overview
As Front of House, you will be responsible for managing the salon's front desk, enhancing the customer experience, and supporting the team in maintaining high rebooking rates and retail sales. You will be the first point of contact for clients, handling bookings, client inquiries, and retail sales while ensuring smooth daily operations.
Key Responsibilities
Client Experience & Bookings:
- Greet clients warmly and ensure they feel welcomed.
- Manage bookings efficiently, creating urgency for rebooking and pre-booking future appointments.
- Upsell services and recommend additional treatments to enhance the client experience.
- Actively promote and sell Alison Jade products, aligning recommendations with client needs.
- Maintain knowledge of all retail products, including Brow Lock and the Celestial Shimmer Palette.
- Meet and exceed weekly retail sales targets.
Operational Excellence:
- Ensure the salon remains clean, organised, and aligned with brand aesthetics.
- Assist with stock management, including restocking and inventory tracking.
- Coordinate team schedules, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.
Client Relationship Management:
- Build relationships with clients to encourage loyalty and repeat visits.
- Handle client inquiries professionally and resolve any concerns promptly.
- Maintain and update client records with relevant notes on preferences and past treatments.
What We’re Looking For 
- Previous experience in a front-of-house, reception, or customer service role (preferably in the beauty industry).
- Strong sales skills and confidence in recommending services and retail products.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Organised, detail-oriented, and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- A proactive and solutions-focused mindset.
- Passion for the beauty industry and a keen eye for aesthetics.
