Overview
This is an 8‐month maternity leave contract for a Finance Business Partner role. The Senior FP&A Analyst will act in a controllership role for ANZ, working closely with the ANZ Country Manager to drive growth in topline and bottom line, take P&L ownership and implement sound financial processes and discipline to support sustainable growth.
Responsibilities
* Lead the sales forecast call during the weekly Australia Leadership Meeting, calling out key drivers of growth/decline, key trends, validating forecasts, flagging risks, and using data and metrics to facilitate discussion.
* Prepare and present clear and meaningful sales reports, revenue dashboards, trend charts, and key leading indicators to ANZ & APAC management, benchmarking against Prior Year, Plan, Latest Best Estimate, and Market performance.
* Gather important commercial data and compile it into reports that business leaders use to drive fact‐based decisions, focusing on forward‐looking analysis to identify risk and opportunity (e.g., procedure data, automation, streamlining).
* Drive new innovations in finance by maintaining and developing Power BI dashboards and functions where applicable.
* Own Financial Planning, Reporting, and Analysis of the ANZ commercial division, managing the full P&L against key benchmarks.
* Perform in‐depth reviews and variance analysis on key P&L line items such as Revenue, Gross Margin, Operating Expenses, and Division Margin.
* Take proactive ownership of problem‐solving tasks, providing proposals to the Country Manager to aid appropriate actions.
* Lead Quarterly LBE/Business Review processes with the Country Manager and prepare the loading of financial forecasts into the Dodeca system.
* Support annual territory planning and set up annual quotas for the ANZ commercial team.
* Perform incentive accrual and incentive payment calculations.
* Maintain the accuracy and completeness of the sales reporting system relied upon by the sales force for actual results and targets.
* Prepare and load quotas into the sales reporting system to enable variance analysis by reps and assist in filling quota templates for Neurosmart.
* Develop business cases for market expansions and product launches by running financial scenarios (e.g., revenues, profitability).
* Coordinate effectively with cross‐divisional and functional teams related to markets, including customer services, Commercial, CFS/HUB Accounting, Compliance, Audit, AP/AR, and IT.
Qualifications
* Minimum Education: Bachelor of Accounting or Finance.
* CPA or CA qualified.
