About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced telecommunications professional to join our team. As a Field Service Technician, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service by installing and repairing telecommunications products and services in homes and businesses.
You will work independently to deliver seamless service rectification and product installations, ensuring customer satisfaction. Your expertise will include copper cable maintenance and installation, fault finding, jointing, jumpering, and networking.
Additionally, you will be responsible for maintaining and managing fibre network technology, core network technology, and data services. Customer premises equipment maintenance and installation, as well as fault finding over copper networks in rural or remote settings, are also key responsibilities of this role.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver seamless service rectification and product installations to customer satisfaction
* Maintenance and management of fibre network technology, core network technology, and data services
* Copper cable maintenance and installation including fault finding, jointing, jumpering, and networking
* Fault finding over copper networks in a rural or remote setting
Qualifications and Skills
To be successful in this role, you will need to hold and maintain relevant licenses and qualifications, such as a Certificate III in Telecommunications, Open cabling license, Traffic management qualifications, and an industry white card.
Telstra offers training support for Traffic management and white card certificates, and you will be required to be vaccinated against Covid-19.
