Project Coordinator Role

We are seeking an experienced Project Coordinator to join our team. As a Project Coordinator, you will play a key role in the successful delivery of projects from concept to completion.

Key Responsibilities:

* Work autonomously and as part of a team to deliver project tasks
* Manage projects in accordance with contractual requirements
* Plan and deliver construction projects from concept to completion
* Prepare or assist in the preparation of site assessments, due diligence reports, cost reports, project control group reports, construction reports and completion reports
* Manage internal and external project stakeholders, consultants and contractors
* Manage design development, coordination, reviews and approvals during planning and construction phases
* Undertake procurement management, including review of trade tender packages
* Appoint and manage contractors while maintaining probity requirements
* Handle contract administration, including evaluation of progress claims, variations, extensions of time and completing documentation
* Monitor and manage completion activities including commissioning, handover, take-over and defects
* Prepare project programmes and monitor projects in line with those programmes developed by a contractor and approved by the client
* Monitor project costs in line with the approved budget
* Monitor and report on actual performance compared with the programme
* Liaise with local authorities as required to ensure that the works are authorized as the project progresses
* Ensure monitoring, reporting and compliance with occupational health and safety regulations
* Ensure that a system of quality assurance is in place to ensure the production of the highest quality of work in design, construction and administration
* Continually seek and capitalize upon opportunities to increase client satisfaction and deepen client relationships

Requirements:

* Degree in a construction or engineering-related discipline such as construction management, M&E/civil engineering, architecture or project management
* A minimum of seven years' experience working on a range of projects in consultancy
* Experience in commercial office fit-out essential
* Proficient in MS Office tools including Word, Excel and Project
* Experience in advisory services (risk management, workshop facilitation) desirable
* Excellent communication and client-facing skills
