Join our team in Primary and Community Health Speech Pathology at Fairfield Community Health Centre and play a meaningful role in supporting children with a variety of communication disorders. You will be responsible for delivering high‑quality, person‑centred assessment and therapy including the provision of multidisciplinary care. You will be well supported with regular supervision, a comprehensive orientation and professional development opportunities tailored to your goals, allowing you to continue building your clinical skills and confidence while contributing to a service that makes a real difference.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong commitment to paediatric care, teamwork, and continuous professional development.

* Has a passion for working with children with communication difficulties and delivering high quality clinical care to children and their families in South Western Sydney
* Has experience and skills in assessing and managing paediatric clients with a variety of communication disorders
* Ability to work as part of a team including multidisciplinary teams
* Has excellent written and verbal communication skills and time management
* Value opportunities for supervision, growth and continuous learning. Participation in tasks/duties that support overall service delivery including quality improvement, clinical supervision and administrative duties.


Selection Criteria
To help us assess your suitability for the role, please tell us as much as you can about yourself in response to the questions below.

* Must hold a bachelor or post graduate degree in speech pathology which provides eligibility for membership of Speech Pathology Australia, or other qualification deemed equivalent by the employer
* Demonstrated clinical knowledge, experience and skills in assessing and managing paediatric clients (0-12 years) with a variety of communication disorders.
* Demonstrated experience working with culturally and linguistically diverse, vulnerable and/or at risk communities ensuring the provision of client/family centred care.
* Demonstrated commitment to professional development and commitment to evidence based practice.
* Ability to work independently and as a member of a team.
* Applicants must possess an Australian C-Class driver's license (including P1 or P2). Those who hold a C class license (P1 or P2 included) from a state other than NSW must obtain a NSW C class (P1 or P2 included) license within three months of appointment. Learner's licenses are not permitted.
