Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Application Architect to join our team.
This is a challenging and rewarding role that involves designing, implementing and evolving the application environment in our organisation. You will work closely with stakeholders to ensure that applications integrate well and provide an intuitive user experience.
The successful candidate will have excellent technical skills, be able to communicate effectively with business stakeholders and have a strong understanding of business requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide Technical Guidance: Provide technical guidance on solution design to ensure infrastructure integrates well with application workflow for intuitive and engaging user experience.
* Draft Business Requirements: Draft business requirements into technical specifications by consulting with stakeholders in defining business services for application accesses using Virtual Desktop Interface (VDI).
* Monitor and Test: Proactively monitor, test & support end-user applications, perform performance tuning using various monitoring tools to ensure optimal configuration/performance.
* Lead Solution Architectures: Lead the development of solution architectures, validate implementations directly with business users, infrastructure teams and/or functional areas.
* Risk Identification: Lead identification of risks that arise from potential technical solution architectures. Suggest alternate solutions or countermeasures to mitigate risks.
* Change Management: Evaluate requests for changes and/or deviations from specifications and recommend actions.
* Technical Strategy: Ensure that relevant technical strategies, policies, standards and practices (including ICT security) are applied correctly to meet IOC and FOC requirements.
Requirements:
* Architecture: ARCH5 Leads the development of solution architectures in specific business, infrastructure or functional areas.
* Design: DESN5 Designs large or complex systems and undertakes impact analysis on major design options and trade-offs.
* Candidate Ability: The extent to which the candidate demonstrates in their submission the ability to perform the Job Duties and Responsibilities set out in the RFQ.
* Technical Skills: The extent to which the candidate demonstrates in their submission the ability to meet the Technical Skills requirement set out in the RFQ.
