As a Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, leading multidisciplinary teams, and contributing to the development of obstetric and gynaecological services in our region.
Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver safe and effective inpatient and outpatient services as part of a multidisciplinary team.
* Lead and contribute to the development of obstetric and gynaecological services in our region.
* Provide clinical leadership and supervision to junior medical staff.
* Pursue opportunities for professional development, research, and quality improvement.
* Contribute to the teaching and training of medical students and junior doctors.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need to have:
* A strong background in obstetrics and gynaecology, with fellowship of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (RANZCOG).
* Registration with the Medical Board of Australia as a Specialist or via the overseas-trained pathway.
* Effective communication and interpersonal skills, including IT proficiency.
* A commitment to teaching, research, and quality improvement.
* Availability for on-call duties and on-site response.
