Bendigo Motor Group is looking for an Automotive Accessory Fitter to join our workshop team. The position involves completing the Pre Delivery checklist on all new vehicles to ensure they are ready for delivery, fitting new car accessories such as tow bars, electric brakes, bull bars, ARB accessories, as well as parts from suppliers like Suzuki & Chery.
Responsibilities
* Complete Pre Delivery process on all new vehicles across all our brands (Ford, Suzuki & Chery).
* Carry out fitment of parts and accessories to the highest quality standard and within time frames.
* Ensure no damage is caused to customer vehicles or property during fitment by using correct equipment and following procedures.
* Follow all workshop WH&S procedures.
* Assist in achieving an efficient workshop operation.
* Keep work areas and tools tidy and in good working order.
Qualifications & Skills
* Accessory fitting experience; ability to fit from bull bars and towbars to UHF's and 12V installations.
* Manual capability, precision, and accuracy.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Knowledge of safety and ensuring vehicles are roadworthy.
Work Hours & Salary
Full time – 8:30 am to 4:36 pm (flexibility to start earlier and finish early if suitable). Salary based on experience.
