**Responsibilities**:
- Develop and implement HSEQ programs and policies that meet industry standards and regulatory requirements
- Conduct regular safety audits, risk assessments, and incident investigations to identify and eliminate hazards and prevent future incidents
- Prepare and deliver safety training and induction programs to all employees and contractors
- Ensure that all employees and contractors are aware of, and follow safe work procedures
- Develop and maintain emergency response plans and conduct regular drills to test the effectiveness of these plans
- Maintain the HSEQ systems to meet the requirements of ISO45001, ISO14001 & 9001
- Lead and participate in regular HSEQ committee meetings to review and improve HSEQ programs and policies
- Conduct regular environmental impact assessments to identify and mitigate negative impacts on the environment
- Develop and implement sustainability initiatives to reduce the company's carbon footprint and promote environmentally responsible practices
**Requirements**:
- Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental or a related field. Construction white card.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in HSEQ coordination in the civil construction industry
- Strong knowledge of health and safety laws and regulations, including ISO45001
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain positive relationships with employees and contractors
- Self-starter. Ability to lead and motivate a team, and to work independently with mínimal supervision
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to anticipate and manage risks effectively
