We are partnered with a local government organisation in Marsden to recruit a Fleet Operations Officer for an ASAP start through until April.
Your new role
* Providing high-level customer service in plant allocation, vehicle and plant breakdowns, repairs, and general enquiries.
* Managing all Plant Fleet Services customer enquiries and generating relevant job cards for distribution within the workshop.
* Delivering vehicle inductions and driver training to PFS stakeholders, ensuring best value outcomes
* Liaising with customers to gather the necessary details for workshop job creation, including breakdowns, equipment faults, warranties, and repairs.
* Supporting the Fleet Operations Team Leader by documenting audit records and contractor correspondence in line with the contract management framework.
* Conducting inductions for Plant Fleet Services business partners on the safe and correct use of plant and equipment.
* Building and maintaining collaborative working relationships across the organisation, ensuring all business is conducted ethically, professionally, and efficiently.
* Coordinating and liaising professionally with external service providers and customers.
What you'll need to succeed

* Strong administrative, customer service, and communication skills.
* Demonstrate excellent attention to detail.
* Thrive in fast-paced environments and can effectively manage competing priorities.
* Self-motivated, show initiative, and take ownership of your responsibilities.
* Hold a current \"C\" Class Driving Licence.
