The role
We’re looking for an experienced Automotive Spray Painter to handle full refinishing work—prep to polish—across late‑model cars, 4x4s and fleet vehicles.
What you’ll do
- Prep, mask, prime and apply base/clear and single‑stage finishes
- Colour match (spectro & visual) and blend adjacent panels
- Operate modern booths, gun setups and waterborne systems
- Complete denib, bake, polish and QC to insurer/OEM standards
- Maintain a clean, safe bay and assist with job flow and time targets
What you’ll bring
- 3+ years in automotive refinishing (trade qualified preferred)
- Strong colour‑matching and blending skills
- Confident with waterborne products and modern booths
- High attention to detail and pride in finish quality
- Current driver’s licence
Nice to have: I‑CAR credits, OEM aluminium/plastic repair knowledge, experience with estimating photos and job management systems.
