As a Branch Assistant, you'll play an important role in keeping our branch running smoothly – supporting customers at the counter, managing warehouse operations, and ensuring timely deliveries. No two days are the same, and you'll be part of a tight-knit team that's passionate about what they do and enjoys coming to work each day. This is a full-time role based in Launceston, Tas, Monday to Friday, with fortnightly weekend work required.
Responsibilities
* Provide friendly and efficient service to retail and trade customers.
* Assist with order processing, quotes, and stock management.
* Pick, pack, and dispatch orders to ensure accurate and timely delivery.
* Load and unload courier deliveries.
* Drive and deliver goods to customers as needed.
* Maintain a clean, safe, and well-organised branch environment.
What you'll need to succeed
* Customer Focus: You're approachable, reliable, and enjoy helping others.
* Common Sense & Initiative: You think on your feet and find solutions.
* Team Player: You thrive in a down-to-earth, collaborative team environment.
* Experience: Customer service and/or warehousing background preferred (industry experience not essential).
* Training: In-house training provided – we'll teach you everything you need to know.
* Licences: Driver's Licence required; Forklift Licence preferred but not essential (can be obtained later).
