Key responsibilities for the Terminal Operations Specialist include:
Providing technical support and diagnosis of system faults to minimize downtime is crucial in this role. The individual will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of the terminal.
* Assisting with product receipt, storage and handling operations.
* Training and supporting driver loading and unloading operations.
* Overseeing product blending, transfer and load-out procedures.
* Conducting regular inspections and maintenance to prevent equipment failure.
Strong focus on Health, Safety and Environment (HSE), reliability, product quality and customer service is essential. Emergency response skills are required.
Ideal Candidate
* A minimum of 5 years' experience in the safe operation of a fuel storage facility or similar industrial site experience.
* The willingness and ability to work shift work.
* Knowledge of relevant industry engineering and safety standards.
* Computer skills including competency in Microsoft Office.
* Strong analytical skills and effective communication skills.
Desirable qualifications include experience in automated control systems and vessel unloading operations, as well as First Aid certification.
