On behalf of my clients who operate in the Australian Defence sector I am currently looking for an experienced ILS Manager who holds a current NV1 clearance and has prior experience gained in the Defence sector.The role is being offered as a long-term day rate contract role and will be based from client's site in Canberra with 4 days in the office and 1 day from home a week.This is an URGENT requirement, so an immediate start is on offer.THE ROLE:As an ILS Manager you will be supporting key EW projects within EWIS, delivering and sustaining critical Defence capability.You will bring your ILS expertise and experience to coordinate the various elements required to ensure project success, progressing projects through the various stages of capability lifecycle from strategy and inception through to in-service support and disposal. In doing so you will play an essential role in providing the Australian Defence Force with cutting edge technology and tools to deliver its mission.KEY RESPONSIBILITES:Work alongside Commonwealth project team members, supporting the progress of projects through the One Defence Capability System, including development of key documents supporting project clearance through Defence capability gate reviews.Liaise with Defence and non-Defence stakeholders. Contribute to or develop ILS artefacts supporting project progress.Manage ILS project plans to completion with key Defence stakeholders. Perform Contract Deliverable Requirements List (CDRL) item reviews.Provide advice and expertise on ILS policies and legislation for Defence stakeholders.Analyse complex logistics issues and identify recommendations.Essential experience / Criteria:An industry recognized ILS qualification or in Defence acquisition ILS policy, processes and procedures to support the acquisition and sustainment of equipment in accordance with Defence requirements.Ability to build and sustain relationships with key stakeholders within CASG, ADF and inservice support contractors.Evaluate contractor material logistics activities to ensure alignment with project objectives.Experience in achieving Fundamental Input to Capability (FIC) assurance statements in support of projects achieving IOC/FOC.MILIS/ERP experience.Experience in leading teams within a complex stakeholder environment.Current NV1 or above security clearance is MANDATORYDesirable requirements:Defence experience in EW and the Land domain.Experience in working above-the-line on Defence ASDEFCON acquisition and support contracts.Codification experience would be highly desirable.Trained in logistics aspects of the Defence ERP system.If you have the aforementioned skills / experience and would like to be considered for this role please APPLY now with a copy of your updated resume or give Sarah a call on 0457114486 for a confidential discussion.
