The Occupational Therapy Department at Western District Health Service has a great opportunity for an enthusiastic and dynamic Occupational Therapist to join our team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting comprehensive occupational therapy assessments and developing individualised interventions to meet the needs of clients in acute, rehabilitation, aged care, and community settings.
As part of this role, you will work across the acute, subacute, and community teams, participating as a member of a multi-disciplinary healthcare team to ensure optimal outcomes for clients.
Key Responsibilities:
* Conduct occupational therapy assessments and develop individualised interventions
* Participate in multidisciplinary healthcare teams
* Complete accurate and legible documentation
* Maintain client records and assist with statistical data collection
* Assist with supervision and mentoring of students
* Contribute to quality improvement activities

Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Bachelor of Occupational Therapy or equivalent qualification
* Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)

* Ability to work effectively independently and as part of a team
