Electrical Service Technician – Development

Location
Mudgee, New South Wales, Australia – service work throughout the Mudgee region.
Role Overview
Komatsu is seeking an electrical development service technician to support our customers in the Mudgee region. Your schedule will depend on where you live: you may travel to sites and stay a few nights each week or drive daily if you live near Mudgee. You will plan your week autonomously to meet customer requirements. First you will complete an extensive onboarding program and classroom‑based product training at our training centre of excellence.

Qualifications
* Electrical Trade Qualification.
* Experience working underground with development mining equipment.
* Strong problem‑solving and diagnostic skills.
* Data‑driven and analytical approach to reliability.
* Ability to work autonomously.
Key Role Responsibilities
* Provide customers with pro‑active advice and support.
* Facilitate flawless start‑up of development machines.
* Support engineering and be directly involved with machine commissioning.
* Provide advanced technical support for development equipment in the field.
* Coordinate new product field trials and document results, including opportunities for product enhancement.
* Collate field data and evidence for Root Cause Analysis (RCA) activities for major failures and unresolved reliability issues.
* Engage with key stakeholders to identify opportunities to offer solutions for customer needs.
