Offer description

Play a key role in delivering HR services across the NSW region.

* Generalist HR position, 12 months maternity leave cover, based in Beresfield
* Competitive salary in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
About us

Fenner Conveyors, a proud member of the Michelin Group, is a global leader in designing and delivering engineered conveyor solutions for the mining and industrial sectors. With over 1,200 employees across 3 manufacturing sites, 29 service branches, and dedicated engineering design and fabrication facilities, we're setting the standard for innovation and reliability.

About the Role

Reporting to the General Manager - Business Partnering, the P&C Business Partner NSW will provide HR support to our service branches, as well as our manufacturing and engineering operations across New South Wales. Based at our Beresfield branch, this role involves regular weekly travel to various locations throughout the state.

This is a hands‐on, fast‐paced position that requires someone who is proactive, adaptable, and ready to roll up their sleeves. You will need to manage competing priorities effectively, deliver results, and build credibility through strong stakeholder engagement.

As a trusted partner, you will support leaders and employees throughout the entire employment lifecycle, providing strategic, advisory, and operational HR support. You will work closely with people leaders across the NSW region, building strong relationships and establishing yourself as a reliable and valued business partner. Through collaboration and clear communication, you will help ensure HR policies and procedures are well understood and consistently applied. By involving stakeholders in the process, you will support the development of practical, people‐focused solutions that align with business goals.

Critical to your success in this role is the ability to deliver excellent service while communicating effectively and building solid rapport with our people. As part of the wider P&C team, you'll be joining a collaborative, results‐driven group that values both professionalism and fun.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will bring a minimum of three years' experience in a similar HR Generalist or Industrial Relations position, ideally within a unionised workforce. You will have a strong understanding of the Fair Work Act, Modern Awards, Enterprise Agreements, and common law contracts. Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources, Psychology, or a related discipline are essential, or you may demonstrate equivalent expertise through a combination of experience, training, and professional accreditation.

Your background will include managing complex performance counselling and performance management processes. You will possess strong organisational and administrative skills, with a high level of written and verbal communication, and the ability to manage priorities and meet deadlines. A customer‐focused approach and the ability to quickly build credibility and strong relationships across all organisational levels—from blue collar to senior management—are key. Experience in the mining services or manufacturing sectors will be highly regarded.

You will be capable of working autonomously and remotely, while also contributing effectively as part of a broader HR team. A proactive mindset, comfort with ambiguity, and strong problem‐solving abilities across the employee lifecycle will be critical to your success.

Why Join Fenner?
* Exposure to major National Projects and opportunity to work with industry leaders across the Organisation.
* Be part of a people‐first company with strong leadership and a supportive, approachable culture.
* Enjoy flexible work arrangements and a vibrant team atmosphere.
* Access exceptional employee benefits, including:
o 3% Annual Group Bonus
o Wellness and recognition platform (FennerFits)
