Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Nighttime Care Support Worker to join our team. As a Nighttime Care Support Worker, you will be responsible for providing overnight support to young people and staff members in a safe and secure environment.
Responsibilities:
* Providing active support to young people, including assistance with daily routines, meal preparation, and transport to appointments.
* Supporting the development of positive relationships between young people and staff members.
* Maintaining a clean and tidy living environment, including laundry and household chores.
* Managing crisis situations calmly and confidently, and reporting any incidents or concerns to management.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* A current Working with Children Check (paid employment)
* A current First Aid Certificate (Provide First Aid; HLTAID003)
* A National Police Check (via Employment Screening Group)
* A current driver's licence
* Willingness to participate in Worker/Carer Exclusion Scheme Check
* A current NDIS Worker Check (via Vic service site)
* Certificate IV in Child, Youth and Family Intervention, or a recognised relevant qualification
