The Role
The Investment Accounting team is hiring a Manager on a 15‐month parental leave cover contract.
Responsibilities
* Manage investment accounting, tax, product, and investment administration requirements for IFM Investors, as directed by senior management.
* Lead the Investment Accounting team, providing direction and oversight.
* Provide internal training as required.
* Mentor and coach staff in a pragmatic and collaborative style.
* Identify and implement new product developments for IFM, as directed by senior management.
* Provide insight into inefficient processes and contribute to solutions, proactively managing complex tasks within the team.
Required Background and Experience
* 9+ years relevant experience in investment accounting or fund accounting.
* Tertiary qualifications in law, commerce, economics, finance or related field.
* Post‐graduate qualifications preferred.
* CPA or CA qualifications or studying toward one.
* Leadership and employee engagement skills.
* Detailed market knowledge.
* Client relationship management experience.
* Business acumen, financial metrics and key performance drivers.
* Strong financial knowledge.
* High level numerical skills.
