Our client, Polestar, a highly innovative luxury and market leading automotive brand, are currently seeking an Automotive Technician. Their state of the art workshop is convenientlylocated in Artarmon on Sydney's lower North Shore. In this role, you will be responsible for performing diagnostics, maintenance, and repair work on a range of modern vehicles, naturally with a focus on electric vehicles (EVs) currently available or soon to be released.The suitable candidatewill be responsible for:Conducting diagnostic procedures using advanced tools and software.Performing scheduled maintenance and general mechanical repairs.Inspecting, troubleshooting and resolving mechanical and electrical faultsCollaborating with service advisors and workshop staff to ensure high-quality customer service.Keeping accurate records of services and repairs completed.Adhere to safety procedures and company standards at all times.Participating in training with the latest automotive technologies and repair techniques.Qualifications & Experience:Trade qualification as an Automotive Technician.Proven experience working in a OEM, dealership or automotive service environment.Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.Experience with electric vehicles (EVs) is highly desirable.A current and valid Australian driver's licence.Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship.Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.It is essential that the applicant is able to work in Australia.
