Leadership Role in Occupational Violence Prevention
This is a senior leadership position at the forefront of a major reform initiative to strengthen safety and security across the Department.
The Director will lead the development, implementation, and evaluation of policies and procedures for Occupational Violence Prevention (OVP) and related education provision.
Key responsibilities include strategic risk management, policy development, stakeholder engagement, and team leadership. The successful candidate will have expertise in coordination, reporting, and accountability processes, as well as developing frameworks and modelling on key strategic risks and objectives.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with executive staff, stakeholders, and other government agencies.
They will play a critical role in shaping the future of workplace safety and contributing to the health and wellbeing of the community.
