About the role

We are seeking a 12-month Fixed-Term Full-time passionate and skilled Administration Officer to join our Major Mods Team in Eight Mile Plains. The overall purpose of the Administration Officer is to provide quality operational administration support to the Service. You will be responsible for maintaining an efficient and customer focused reception for internal and external clients, other visitors and service providers; processing admissions and discharges of clients; and promoting and contributing to a positive team environment within the Service.

The pay-rate for the role will range from $31.54-$32.65/hr depending on your experience.

It will be a 38 hours/week role between Monday-Friday, 8:00am-4:00pm.

The role involves a flexible/hybrid work setup with the exception of full-time training in the Robina office.

About you

* Demonstrated strong experience in a similar role, including front desk experience/knowledge, word processing and filing.
* A commitment to the importance of high quality client service and an ability to provide friendly and courteous service.
* Demonstrated ability to liaise, advise and work with staff, managers and clients at all levels and deal with complex and sensitive interpersonal matters.
* Ability to work effectively as a member of a team and contribute to a positive and successful work environment.
* Ability to assess priorities and manage competing deadlines both independently and as a member of a team.
* Experience in the use of Microsoft desktop software, including Word, Excel and Outlook.
* Able to sustain a high level of concentration in a volume processing activity to ensure accuracy and identify errors.
* Demonstrated accounts payable/receivable and/or petty cash experience (desirable)
* General understanding of quality framework (desirable)

Role: Requirements

* Valid Aged Care Worker Screening Check: Current National Police Check OR Current NDIS Worker Screening Clearance. NB: NDIS Worker Screening Clearance is mandatory for Services/Facilities delivering services to NDIS clients. Statutory Declaration if you have been a citizen or permanent resident of a country other than Australia after turning 16.
* Current Driver's Licence and own reliable vehicle
* Certificate in Business Administration or a related discipline - desirable
